Golden visa
The Golden visa program was launched by the Portuguese Authorities so that foreign investors outside the EC can invest in Portugal and thus obtain a resident permit.
It is only necessary to invest in Portugal, as provided by law, to qualify for obtaining a residence permit. This authorization will allow the investor and his family to live in Portugal and travel freely to European countries (Schengen zone).
Advantages of Golden Visa:
- Living and working in Portugal, even if you live in another country,
- The residence permit is applicable to other family members;
- Visa is not required to enter Portugal;
- Visa is not required to travel in Europe (Schengen area);
- Permanent residence after 5 years;
- Citizenship after 6 years.

Green Gold
Green Gold is an investment category launched by the Portuguese Government as part of its Golden Resident Permit Program (GRPP). This Visa will serve to reinforce Portugal’s role in attracting international ecological investments.
Investments minimum amount of € 500,000, in ecological and environmental projects, are now an opportunity for foreigners to enter Portugal and the European Union. They will thus be able to request authorization for residence and Portuguese nationality through these projects, as long as they keep the investment in the country for a minimum period of 5 years and spend 7 days a year in Portugal.

- Ecotourism
- Organic agriculture
- Carbon neutral designs

RNH
RNH, Tax Regime for Non-Habitual Resident, is a privileged tax process for foreigners who decide to live in Portugal, being eligible for special rates applicable to profits from Portugal (taxed at a special rate of 20%), and tax exemptions on foreign income for a period of 10 consecutive years.
